How getting started works
EBC uses a five-step process so families know what to expect from the first conversation through the start of services.
1. Contact EBC
Share what brings you to EBC and the questions you would like help answering.
2. Consultation
A team member will learn about your child, your priorities, and the type of support you are seeking.
3. Benefits Verification and Explanation
EBC will gather plan information, review benefits when insurance applies, and explain what the verification means. Coverage is plan-specific.
4. Planning
EBC will identify the information, goals, scheduling details, and practical next steps needed to prepare for services.
5. Begin Services
If services are appropriate, authorized when required, and available, the team will coordinate how to begin.
